These perfectly imperfect teddy bears were made in Kenya by seamstresses in our Enkiteng sewing program. As the seamstresses get more comfortable sewing, they advance to a very important part of the program, where they make new products that we buy from them directly. It challenges them as seamstresses (product development), and also teaches them small business skills – figure out the profit margin and set the price of a new product.
About 15″ tall, pocket on front. Label inside of pocket is signed by the seamstress who made it (Meet the seamstresses)
