Salaheddin is a French fair-trade company that was created in 2004. They import Syrian Crafts in order to build a long-lasting relationship with artisans from Damascus, Aleppo and other towns of Syria. Given the events in Syria, with more and more difficult and dangerous supplies, they have chosen to make soap at the Turkish-Syrian border, with the help of Syrian refugees. They have managed to resettle in Turkey at the earliest stages of events and Salaheddin has helped them finance the goods and restart the production. Both the olive and laurel oil come from the Turkey and are organic. Read more on their website http://www.salaheddin.net/
