Sisal Fruit Basket

Hand-dyed Raffia is wrapped expertly around a core made of banana fiber. Handmade by artisans in our Githomo Program in Mt. Kenya region.

Use it for fruit, bread, or just about anything, or hang it on the wall for a stunning decoration. Basket is about 12" across and about 3" deep.

All net proceeds from sale of Githomo Crafts pay for school fees of underprivileged girls in the Mt. Kenya area.

Each basket is unique, please note that your basket might not be exactly the same as pictured. If you would like to select from the baskets we have available, please get in touch with us, we'll be happy to send you pictures. Please e-mail us if you'd like to order more than one basket, we would be happy to help. We order from the artisans directly. Turn around time is usually about 1 month.
